Kinja'd!!!

I am so ready for warm weather, free time on the weekends, and a fun toy car to drive.

I can not wait to quit my second job. I can not wait to wake up on a Saturday and not really have anything to do (instead of having to work my 2nd job for 8 hours). I can not wait to talk the wife into going for a ride with me while her folks watch the kids. I can not wait to be free driving along a nice open road. I can not wait.

Oh man, me too. I work about 50 hrs/wk and since it's been so cold up here (WI), I rarely get a chance to get outside. I've had a WRX rear sway bar in the back of my wagon for about 2 months now, just waiting for the warm weather so I can put it on.

All I want to do is roll the windows down with the wife in the passenger seat and the dog in the back, and just cruise.

Between both jobs, I work between 60-68 hours a week. Plus we are working on "refreshing" our house since we are getting ready to try and sell it. I had last Saturday off, first time in who knows how long, and I spent it working on the bathroom with my father in law. It needed to be done. Better than working at my 2nd job, but still, not the way I wanted to spend my day off.

We're just buying a house. This weekend will be filled with packing. Joy.

I know the feeling. I just got some new summer wheels & tires for my Forester (which has been blocked in the garage all winter by my lawn tractor/plow). If we don't get the snow that's being called for I'm going to put them on and take it for a spin. Than it goes in the shop Tuesday to get the timing belt replaced so it's ready for spring.

Congratz! There's nothing like buying a house and spending the first nights there listening to every weird creaking sound wondering if you've just made the worst financial decision of your life!

:-)

Haha thanks! It's going to be a bit until we move in and I'm already waking up in the middle of the night wondering if I've made the worst financial decision of my life!

Lol. Sounds like you're right on track then! Home ownership is truly wonderful but yeah, if you're not a bit scared by it something might be wrong with you! Congratz and good luck!
